Do you want a grill that everyone will adore? Here you have grills with details that are worth your money and consideration.
Weber Spirit E310
The Weber Spirit E310 is a liquid propane gas grill that comes in a matte black finish with stainless steel accents. There are three burners, each at 10,600 BTU, and ignited by the electronic Crossover ignition system.
The cooking surface is a cast iron grate with porcelain enameled coating, giving the 19.5 inches long by 17.5 inches wide cooking surface a nice 424 square inches of cooking space. There is a removable warming grate that is 17.5 inches long by 6 inches wide for 105 square inches, large enough for 5 normal slices of bread. This grill has flavorizer bars underneath the cooking grate that help direct grease drippings away from the burners, preventing flare-ups and adding a nice smokey flavor to your food.
This is a full unit with cart and a wheel for each leg. There are two stationary side tables with clips for hooking and hanging your barbeque utensils. The cart is fully enclosed into a single cabinet so you can store your propane tank, and a few other things. This cart has a special measuring unit that will tell you how full your propane tank is.
The hood of the grill is porcelain enameled to keep its finish despite its heavy heat environment so that the exterior will never rust or fade. There is a thermometer embedded into the hood.
Review of the Weber Spirit E310
This grill only takes 30 minutes to an hour to assemble and the instructions are clear and easy. Once fully assembled, this grill does well with igniting properly the first time when you press the ignition button. The flavorizer bars help reduce flare-ups and keep your grill evenly heated.

Traeger Tailgater 20
Traeger’s Tailgater 20 is a wood pellet grill and smoker with an original design to deliver wood pellets to the burning area without disrupting your cooking. Traeger grills have a digital controller to specify exactly what you want the temperature to cook at, within 20 degrees, just like the control in your indoor oven, and the grease is deposited in an easy to clean collection tray. The legs collapse for easier portability.
The grill has 300 square inches of cooking space, which comes to 16.5 inches long by 18 inches wide. The grilling grates are easy to clean thanks to their porcelain enameling. It has an electronic flip switch to ignite the grill, like an indoor light switch.

Review of the Traeger Tailgater 20
The grill is easy to assemble and I was able to put it together in a little under 30 minutes. I slow cooked some brisket and the 8 lb hopper and it appears to use about 1 lb per hour which is quite affordable and makes it easy to slow cook for long hours.
I was surprised that this Traeger unit does have an electrical cord, but it draws very little power while it is running, it only uses power to ignite the grill, and then to keep the fans going. Traeger’s customer service is excellent and they were able to answer all of my questions without consulting a manager or manual.
Char-Broil Performance 650
The Char-Broil Performance 650 is the 3rd and last grill in this category of the best grills under 500 dollars, and it will cook for a large group of people due to its 6 burners plus a side burner for 7 total burners, wow! This is a liquid propane gas grill, with each burner operating at 10,000 BTU.
The grill itself is stainless steel with a porcelain coating for durability and ease of cleaning, and measures 35 inches longways and 18.5 inches across for a total of 650 square inches of cooking space.
It also has a warming rack that can be swung out of the way that measures 31 inches wide by 7.4 inches deep for a total of 280 square inches, large enough for six to eight pieces of bread or hamburger buns. The grilling area is massive, big enough for eight to ten racks of ribs or full salmon halves and at least 8 massive 32 oz porterhouse steaks.
The grill unit is free standing on four caster wheels for ease of moving around. It has two side workstation tables, one of which has a flap to hide the side burner, on the left side. The workstations do not fold down. The bottom of the grill is fully encased, with stainless steel double cabinet doors. The inside of the cabinet doors has a rack so that you can place hooks to hang your utensils.

Review of the Char-Broil Performance 650
Assembly isn’t bad at all and it will take you an hour to two hours to get this bad boy ready for some grilling fun. Once put together, it’s truly massive, enough to feed a very large family of six to ten people, to host backyard parties, or to grill for organization functions where a lot of people are present. It heats up hot and fast and maintains its heat pretty well.
The Weber Spirit E310 is a great grill for an average sized family, and it performs well for its price category. Traeger’s Tailgater 20 would be an excellent purchase for someone who wants control over their food with the benefit of wood flavor instead of propane, as a product like this is hard to find. Char-Broil Performance 650 is an excellent buy for a very large family or organization that regularly holds food events.
